Registration and Abstract Submission


All presenters are required to register and pay the appropriate registration fee to participate in ISSP22.

The organizing committee may grant a partial reduction of the conference fee to eligible participants. Applications will be evaluated individually, based on academic status, financial need, or geographic considerations.   • Bank transfer charges will be paid by the participant

 

3. Submit Your Abstract

  • Only abstracts accepted by the Scientific Committee will be included in the Book of Abstracts.
  • At least one author of each accepted abstract must be registered.
  • During registration, participants may indicate their preferred form of presentation (oral or poster). The final decision on the form of presentation is made and confirmed by the Scientific Committee.
  • One registered participant may present a maximum of 1 contribution.

Paper Publication Announcement


Papers presented at the conference will be eligible for publication in journal Pure and Applied Chemistry, the scientific journal of IUPAC, following a review process.

The Journal is generally recognized as a Q2 (second quartile, Scimago) journal in chemistry-related disciplines. The Journal is indexed in Web of Science with Impact Factor of 2 and 5-Year Impact Factor of 2.2.

Scientists/IUPAC members/Students

Payment

  • Upon receipt of the completed registration form, an invoice will be issued.
  • Full payment is required within seven (7) days from the invoice date.
  • A confirmation letter will be sent upon receipt of proof of payment.

Important Notes

  • All presenters must register for their contribution to be included in the program and the Book of Abstracts.
  • The registration fee does not include accommodation, travel, visa, or meals not explicitly mentioned.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Full refund: Cancellations received in writing on or before 30 June 2026 will be fully refunded.
  • Partial refund (50%): Cancellations received from 1 July 2026 to 31 July 2026 will be refunded at 50% of the paid registration fee.
  • No refund: Cancellations received after 31 July 2026 will not be refunded.

Visa and Entry Information for Bulgaria

Citizens Who Do Not Need a Visa

  • Citizens from European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) countries and Switzerland can enter Bulgaria with a valid passport or national ID card without a visa for short stays (up to 90 days).
  • Non-EU nationals such as the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, Brazil, South Korea, Israel and others can visit Bulgaria visa-free for short stays (typically up to 90 days within a 180-day period) under bilateral agreements
  • Holders of valid Schengen visas or residence permits issued by EU states may also enter Bulgaria for short stays without a separate Bulgarian visa.

Citizens Who Do Need a Visa

  • Citizens from Africa, Asia and other countries that do not have visa-free agreements with Bulgaria must apply for a Bulgarian visa before traveling.

Passport Requirements

  • Your passport should be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended departure date, and have been issued within the last 10 years
